For Every Every One

You can’t go wrong with any of these! The newly released 2017 Mills 50 Mural Calendar is a colorful and practical stocking stuffer idea. Ashley Beth Graphics and soon-to-be hubby Rhett Withey designed the beautiful Love Orlando rainbow orange that is seen all over the city, including Pulse Nightclub and on a mural in the Milk District. The orange is available as a sticker or a lapel pin from Ashley Beth’s Etsy site. College Park’s EmbellishFX, also behind all the handmade rainbow ribbons made for not only locals but people all over the U.S. created rainbow ribbon tree ornaments available at The District at Mills 50. Proceeds will be donated to The Center. Local Love Orlando has also created these amazing Main Street District Postcards, which would be excellent to give out individually or frame and display! You might as well pick up a few of these since I know you’ll want to hang on to a few for yourself.

For That Person With A Sweet Tooth

Orlando has no shortage of dessert places to satisfy even the most insatiable sweet tooth. Emma’s Sweets in Casselberry specializes in scratch made honey caramels, rice crispy bars, truffles and more. For a decadent indulgence, go to Gideon’s in East End Market and pick up Instagram’s favorite cookies or a slice of Red Velvet cake. Peterbrooke Chocolatier on Park Ave has a vast selection of gift items ranging from the popular chocolate high heel to their signature chocolate covered popcorn. Donut lovers will rejoice when they are gifted a box from Donuts To Go in Sanford or for a vegan donut check out Valhalla’s amazing creations. P is for Pie in Audubon Park will not only have treats for gifts but also cakes and pies for all of your holiday gatherings.

For The Foodie

Even if it seems like your foodie friend has already been to every new place in town, that doesn’t mean they won’t appreciate returning and having another visit that isn’t on their dime! Gift cards and gift certificates are available for the majority of the local restaurants that reside in our main streets and districts, from Black Rooster Taqueria and Lazy Moon Pizza in Mills 50, coffee addict fave Foxtail Coffee in Winter Park, to the Milk District’s savory and sweet bake shop/brunch haven Se7en Bites.

For The Vintage Treasure Hunter

Hard to find gifts are the perfect way to show someone just how special they are to you, and how much thought you put into finding them a unique gift! Ivanhoe Village’s Rock N Roll Heaven has a huge selection of both new and used vinyl in pretty much every music genre. Dead Beat Books in District at Mills 50 carries tons of hard to find used books. For the comic book collector, Retro Records in the Milk District and Longwood’s Acme Superstore are where you need to go.

For That Person Who Always Has The Perfect T-Shirt

We all have that one friend who we always ask, “Where’d you get that shirt?” Orlando Shirts carries stylish shirts bearing the names of our local districts and neighborhoods. Deli Fresh Threads is a unique apparel concept combining a love of sandwiches and a love of t-shirts. Each order is wrapped like a sandwich, includes a handwritten note, and is bagged in a brown paper bag, staying on brand. Little Box Guy’s positive messages are displayed throughout all of his merchandise, from his signature t-shirts, to pins and art prints.

For The Person Who Exemplifies Style

This person on your list would love anything from Ashley Beth Graphics – from prints and coffee mugs to the gift bag to put it all in. Items bearing her stunning calligraphy can be purchased through her site. The Wonder Well Co hand paints custom wooden signs for both special occasions (hello bridal showers!) as well as for your home or office. For the perfect card to go along with your gift, Bright Light Paper in East End or Paper Goat Post in Ivanhoe Village will provide you with one of a kind, trendy cards. At the District at Mills 50, SOS Art Gallery has a large selection of handmade cards and also offers a variety of messages that can be stamped on the inside at no extra charge.

For The Person Who Loves Local/Handmade Items

Who doesn’t love to feel pampered? But let’s face it; life is hella busy and doesn’t always allow us the time or opportunity to treat ourselves. Lipsticks & Nail Polish has bath bombs, cuticle oils, mani bombs and more on her site and at Lambs Eat Ivy Salon. The District at Mills 50 is home to both Collective Kindness and Pure Choice Organics, both bands who specialize in natural home and body items. Collective Kindness is a mother and daughter team who hand pour their vegan, kosher soy wax candles into reusable containers. Their candles are made from both fragrance and essential oils, and are not tested on animals. Pure Choice Organics has paraben-free and preservative-free bath & body items ranging from bath bombs, body butters, lotion bars, deodorants and massage oils. Ash & Ember are two environmental scientists who created a line of candles and body wash that are cruelty-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, mineral-oil free, and hypoallergenic.
